COMMUNITY OF CONGREGATIONS
The Community of Congregations is an interfaith organization serving the areas of Oak Park and River Forest, Illinois, as well as surrounding communities.
The Community of Congregations is an interfaith organization serving the western corridor of the Chicago region. Various ministries in the area grew up with the support of the Community of Congregations, including Housing Forward, Beyond Hunger, and Celebrating Seniors. The Holiday Food and Gift Basket program continues under Community of Congregations with grant support from Youth Services of Oak Park and River Forest Townships. In addition, we sponsor a variety of programs and multi-faith gatherings throughout the year including an annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Service, one of the oldest such programs in the Chicagoland area.
